Joining Forces

Red Dog and Drillinginfo Join Forces

As a valued customer, we want you to be among the first to know about an exciting and transformative change to our business. Effective July 1, 2019, Drillinginfo, the energy industry’s leading SaaS and data analytics company, has acquired Red Dog Systems. We firmly believe that this move will better serve the industry by delivering a more streamlined approach for companies to automate their data exchange business processes.

Over the past 18 months, Drillinginfo has formed a complete business automation division with the additional acquisitions of Oildex in September of 2018, MineralSoft in January 2019, and Cortex in February 2019. Now, with the addition of Red Dog Systems and the industry-leading EnergyLink product, the business automation division will transform the way the energy industry connects, collaborates, and automates data exchange for financial transactions and field operations. Our current solutions and combined networks together with Drillinginfo’s vast store of industry data and built-in analytics will deliver a value to our customers that is unmatched in the energy industry.

You probably have several questions about the integration, and we want to highlight a few critical pieces:

The EnergyLink Platform Is Staying: We will gradually transition over time, with a commitment to keeping everyone’s workflow complete and smooth. Our immediate goal these first few months is to bring all revenue and JIB data onto the EnergyLink platform so users can elect to get everything in one place – a huge time savings functionality for you!

The EnergyLink Team Is Staying: Your points of contact today at EnergyLink will not change. The team remains excited and engaged and will be highly involved with the technical process, customer relationships and continued support, as you have come to know and trust.

We are dedicated to keeping an open line of communication with each of you as this transition progresses. In the immediate future, there will be no changes with your account or how you utilize EnergyLink or Oildex. We are still here to support you and there are no changes planned with your account in the immediate future. As we begin to integrate, we will communicate updates, including ways you will benefit from the combination of our companies.

Additionally, we strongly encourage you to attend the 2019 Business Automation User Conference on September 11-13 in San Antonio, TX. This conference, hosted by Drillinginfo, provides a great opportunity to learn more details about the vision for the acquisition, ask questions of the EnergyLink team, and learn the benefits of the EnergyLink platform. Registration details including hotel booking and the agenda can be found here.

Thank you for being a trusted customer.
